I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the tests I've faced, the failed efforts and relationships. All those seemingly meaningless tasks I've completed within my life that in retrospect had lessons that could be derived from each. The life we have experienced up until this point is a blessing, arguably perfectly curated for what we needed to learn. It's easy for me to sit back and say this but for some life has been significantly harder than my experience. I'm not oblivious for this privileged position, I'm grateful of my present moments and respectful to all living beings.

The deepest and darkest of hells we experience are the fires from which the most beautiful phoenixes rise in our world. Think of some of the best people you've ever met, what have they been through? Some of the examples of people I've met with the most incredible caring and loving outlook on life and been through an absolute hell. They survived it, it wasn't easy and too often do I hear of others who have been broken by their own hells. Once we survive the hell we then thrive, we appreciate and value the ever abundant positivity surrounding us.

You don't have to look far to see both people in their own hell and those that have conquered themselves. We can and should be learning from the lessons of others, we don't have to subject ourselves to the experiences of others unnecessarily. Listen to the elders in the community, even if they have outdated or offensive views in some topics, they may hold some absolute golden knowledge bombs in other topics. I wouldn't trust Jordan Peterson for his views on veganism, but when it comes to psychology I'd be stupid to think I knew better.

Let us grow together within communities, value others for their experiences and support. Support each other with our own learnt knowledge. It all comes around, help and be helped. Going it alone isn't strength as much as it is ignorant. I wouldn't be where I am today if it wasn't for the support of others and indeed, the failures I have experienced.
